We are honored and excited to have the opportunity to own and stand this great stallion that belonged to the late Gilbert Reynolds'. Gilbert's breeding program made tremendous contributions to the rope horse industry both regionally and nationally. War Black Ike is by Joe Murray's stallion, Blue Light Ike. War Black Ike was unshown due to a severe inner ear infection that affected his balance as a 5 year old. However, he has proven himself as a producer. His offspring are good looking, gentle horses with great speed. They are naturals in the roping arena. He has multiple offspring that are money earners at the PRCA level in both the heading and the heeling. Check out some of his offspring below.

Ikes Blue Chick
2011 mare raised and trained by York Cattle and Performance Quarter Horses. Julie trained and roped on "Sis" until we sold her to the Moore family in January of 2019. In the first 10 months, Clayton Moore has won over $15,000 heeling on this mare. Keep in mind that Clayton is not old enough to rope at the World Series ropings or at the PRCA level, so this money was all won at CCPRA rodeos, ACTRA and high school rodeos.
